Post 5: Changes to my study program
Well, I think that one of the biggest problems I find with the study program is the CFG and the artistic/sports courses, these are mandatory in the first two years of the degree, but obtaining a place is almost impossible, not only because they are very scarce, but also priority is given to higher courses. Another thing that is also a bit annoying is that the university does not teach classes in the evening hours, so if you want to have a job while you are studying, you must choose night shifts or part-time weekends and holidays, unless you sell your products or services during school hours.
So far, I have no complaints related to the teaching methods except for one: "flipped classes" of the course "Methods of Social Research" It was a nightmare and a killing. As for the workload, it's very, very much, but I guess it's the expected level for a college student, maybe that's why you can get coffee anywhere on campus.
I don't find infrastructure problems, actually, the facilities are my favorite part of the university, everything is always clean and I don't think I've seen anything broken since I started studying. The internet may not reach some areas, but that is normal. I guess the most problematic thing is that in some classrooms things don't work, like the microphones or the air conditioning.
Hi Naythan! i literally agree with everything you said
ResponderEliminarHi, I agree a lot about the emotion to methods of social research, was horrible!
ResponderEliminarMethods of Social Research was terrible. We could have learned a lot from that subject, but the methodology was bad, and another things jeje
ResponderEliminarI believe that the difficulty of taking optional courses is true and if the infrastructure considers that it is also fine.
ResponderEliminarWhat bothers me the most is that the microphone gets ruined in the middle of the class and the teacher keeps talking while they try to fix it, hoping that the people in the back will listen, but that is not the case 😪
ResponderEliminarHi! You're right about the problem with the CFG and other courses :( I would like that they had more capacity.
ResponderEliminarI also think that artistic and sport courses are very difficult to take
ResponderEliminarhii I agree with everything you said, and especially methods of social research such a bad way of teaching :/
